Think you know a lot about Monmouth County's natural areas and wildlife? Join us as Bob Henschel, past MCAS president and former ambassador of the Monmouth County Park System, quizzes us on our knowledge about Monmouth County, and teaches us all something in the process at the Monmouth County Audubon Society meeting on Wednesday, May 8 at 8:00 p.m. The public is welcome; admission is free.
“We’ll set this up as a group participation event,” explains Bob. “Whether you know a little or a lot about Monmouth County, its animals and its plants, come for the fun.” He concludes, “You just might learn something!”
Topics will cover everything from Long-tailed Ducks to Lady’s Slippers, with a few fun facts from past MCAS meetings. Also covered will be events that made this past year unique, including how people and climate change have affected local wildlife. This promises to be fun for all and a nice way to end our program season. MCAS programs will resume in September.
