The Conserve Wildlife Foundation has instituted a new "Adopt-A-Species" campaign. Your symbolic adoption supports efforts to protect New Jersey’s rarest animals, restore important habitat, and foster pride in New Jersey’s rich wildlife heritage.

You can select from several different birds, including the Piping Plover, an endangered local nester (illustrated at left), or perhaps you are motivated to adopt a turtle, or a salamander, a bobcat or a butterfly. Whatever moves you, they all need your help. There are several levels of support.

Adopting a Species also makes a great gift for a friend or loved one. We urge you to share this as a thoughtful gift and support this great program at the same time.
